Upgrade

Alauda support for PostgreSQL supports two primary upgrade methods:

  1. Platform Upgrade: Upgrades that occur automatically when the platform itself is upgraded, provided the platform installation package includes a newer version of Alauda support for PostgreSQL.
  2. Manual Package Upload: Upgrades initiated by manually uploading a new version of the Alauda support for PostgreSQL package to the platform.

Platform Upgrade

When upgrading the Alauda platform, if the installation package includes a newer version of Alauda support for PostgreSQL, the database component will be upgraded automatically as part of the platform upgrade process.

Manual Package Upgrade

You can upgrade Alauda support for PostgreSQL independently by uploading a new version of the package to the platform.
